X-Ray Tube Museum

While it might seem a little obscure, a museum for x-ray tubes actually exists.

The Opole University of Technology in Poland houses a remarkable collection of x-ray tubes and associated equipment used with x-rays. They have tubes related to all aspects of x-ray analysis including medical, industrial, security, XRD and XRF as well as apparatus, parts, literature and photos relating to all these field.

The collection of x-ray tubes includes examples from many manufacturers, several of whom no longer exist. AXT has donated some pieces to the museum that we thought were of historical significance.

So if you are in the area, or have a genuine fascination with x-ray tubes, you should visit the museum.
